Taking An Overview
First, we’ll assess the damage and determine what’s needed to repair it. Then, we’ll remove any paint transfer using a rubbing compound or a solvent. If the only damage is paint transfer, that’s all that will be needed and your plastic bumper will look as good as new in no time.

How does bumper repair save money?
Unlike body shops and panel beaters, we don’t need to respray large areas to fix minor damage. Instead, we use highly efficient sanding/smoothing combined with low pressure, high volume spray painting, blending and computerised colour matching – to fix ONLY the damaged area.
This means you can:
- Avoid buying an entirely new bumper!
- Get your car bumper repaired for less than your insurance excess, meaning you save money. You don’t have to fork out expensive excess and you can keep your no-claim bonus.
Can you repair badly damaged bumpers?
Yes, most bumper dents and shallow scratches can be repaired using our small-area repair technology. Our repairs are especially suited to non-accident damage including car park damage and general wear and tear.
No, we cannot repair heavily damaged bumpers – especially if the damage was caused during a vehicle collision/accident. If you’re unsure, send us a photo of the damage and we will let you know whether we can repair it.

Dented cracked bumper repair
This Mercedes E Class required the dented and scuffed front bumper to be repaired.
The first stage was to heat the bumper to a specific temperature in order to be able to restore the shape without stretching the plastic. Once the shape was correct, a fine layer of flexible bumper filler was applied and sanded ready for the application of a 2 component primer.
The primer was cured and then again sanded to ensure that the surface was perfect for the following application of base coat and lacquer.
After the final coat of lacquer had cured, any minor dust particles were removed and the machine polished back to a high gloss finish.
The total time for this repair was 3 1/2 hours.
