The process starts with giving the panel a thorough clean and degrease.
The dent is then removed using various techniques.
After the dent damage is repaired a 3 stage paint process of priming, base coat and lacquer is then professionally applied to restore the original finish.
Any minor dust particles are then removed and the new paint is machine polished back to a high gloss.

Do I have to make an appointment for an estimate
If your just chasing a generalised figure, please send us photos of the damaged area on your vehicle so we can evaluate whether or not we can do the job and how much it will cost.
HOWEVER: Without seeing the damage we cannot quote you properly. Photos should NOT be too close-up. Photos should clearly show the size and location of the damage in relation to your vehicle.
Will you sand my vehicle before painting it?
Absolutely! We sand every surface that will receive paint. Sanding allows for a mechanical bond between the old surface and the new. Without proper sanding, paint will be much more likely to peel. Based on the individual needs of your vehicle, we also machine sand problem areas according to the damage.
How do we match your vehicles colour?
Almost every car has a paint code applied by the manufacturer somewhere on the vehicle.
This code is entered into our computer database covering virtually every vehicle manufactured in the world over the last 20 years. Using this database we can formulate and produce an exact colour match. Some eye matching may subsequently be required if the vehicle has been previously repaired.
How long will the repair last?
A correctly carried out repair will be no different to a correctly performed body shop repair regarding longevity and quality.
We use a compliant 2 pack lacquer which once hardened, is as durable as the paint used at the factory. In the past, some repair companies have used an inferior single pack lacquer, similar to that found in an aerosol, which would go dull after a few months, Precision Mobile Touch Ups only use high quality tried and tested materials, the same found in any quality bodyshop.
How much does it cost?
As each bit of paint or panel damage is unique, the cost to repair it will depend on the time required to effect the repair. Generally we will be able to carry out a repair for significantly less than smash repair shop would charge, additionally you get the benefit of on-site service with no time lost to deliver the car to a workshop and pick it up again after a couple of days. Most of our jobs take no more than 2 – 3 hours to complete.
We pride ourselves on the quality of work we produce, and can state with confidence that there are many panel shops out there that cannot produce such quality – Repairing a dent or ding is a very involved process. There is a minimum amount of time it takes to repair one dent.
Picture this: a body repair technician must first grind all of the paint off of the area to be repaired, then he must mix filler with a catalyst, then apply it uniformly, then wait for it to dry, then sand it, then either glaze it or apply a second coat of filler, then wait for that to dry, sand it again, mix a 2k primer on a computerised scale, apply the primer, wait for that to dry, then sand it. Only then is the job finished!
